First up – Bakugan!

Bakugan is a little marble-y-thing that turns into:

A Bakugan warrior.

In case you have no idea what I’m talking about, read here:

Bakugan Battle Brawlers, which rolled onto the scene in 2007, is a game revolving around magnetic, spring-loaded balls which pop open into mini warrior-action creatures when rolled onto laminated magnetic game cards. When two Bakugan land on the same magnetic card, they battle. The winner is then determined by points on the bottom of the card and the Bakugan’s “special values.”

Got it? Never mind. Here’s the good news: the adorables (5 and up) do.

And they love them! So much so, that Bakugan will be among the hottest toys this holiday for the second year in a row.

Woo Hoo! My son is getting some of these for the holidays. Who wouldn’t want to tuck a few extras into his stocking? Or save them up for sometime when I need to, ahem, persuade him to do something like sit still and smile for photos 🙂

I kind of like Bakugon, I like how they open magnetically, I look at them with my friends, and they are really cool. (from my 9yo adorable) =)
