College Campus as Weekend Playground

Here’s what we’ve been doing on our free weekends:

1)Pack the car full of sporting equipment and bikes.

2) Drive to our favorite college town, in this case, Princeton University, where The Running Man went to undergrad.

3) Locate outdoor place to have fabulous college-town lunch. Why is food always better there??

4) Unpack the bikes since college campuses often involve a LOT of walking (and little or no parking)

5) Find sporting event – often they are free!

6) Find open field to practice sport of choice.

7) Wander back into college town to have ice cream (this is the only mandatory step)

8) Drive home with wiped out adorables who have just had a fabulous day!

9) Repeat at any college campus, nationwide.

My husband is a student at Iowa State University and the grounds there are amazing! We take the kids with a soccer ball and just let them loose!
