Father’s Day Week of Giveaways: the Bosch Drill/Driver

Meet the Bosch 12V Max Lithium Ion 3/8″ Drill/Driver:

Now there’s a reason I don’t write about tools often – I’m just proficient enough to charge the batteries and squeeze the trigger-button-thingy when I use ours around the house.
But the Daddios in our lives will get a kick out of all the specifics, so for them…
This Drill/Driver has a 7″ head length so it’s great for getting into tight corners.
This is a powerful little drill with 2 speed settings and it’s wicked fast. I can also appreciate that there’s a battery fuel gauge so you can hurry it up a little when your batteries about to go.
There are 2 other features and I don’t have a clue what they mean personally, but I bet they’ll get someone’s boxers in a bunch:
1. 3/8″ Single Sleeve Chuck to accommodate 90% of common applications
2. 20+1 Clutch Settings – Perfect torque adjustments for precise screwdriving
Anyone? Anyone?
This puppy only weighs 2.1 lbs so it’s great for over the head continuous work. There’s also an LED light so you can see what you’re doing.
Hmmm… I’m thinking I need more raised vegetable beds…
