Are you a resolution maker? Did you make a list yesterday of goals for the year? Have you chosen something to work on? If you did, awesome! I love you courage to make changes, to grow and improve in this coming year!

But if you have not done any of those things, I invite you to join me, and hundreds of others over at OneWord365.  Here’s what it’s all about (taken directly from their site):

Forget New Year’s Resolutions. Scrap that long list of goals you won’t remember three weeks from now anyway.

Choose just one word.

One word that sums up who you want to be or how you want to live. One word that you can focus on every day, all year long.

It will take intentionality and commitment, but if you let it, your one word will shape not only your year, but also you. It will become the compass that directs your decisions and guides your steps.

Discover the big impact one word can make.

One word. 365 days. A changed life.

So there you have it — just choose one word – one word to ‘be a compass’ for your coming year! That’s not too hard, is it?! I chose the word engage for this coming year, you can read about it on my blog, if you’d like.

A few other fun things about the OneWord365 website:

  • They have a list of words at the bottom of their homepage to give you lots of inspiration in choosing your word
  • If you have a blog, you can join the ‘tribe’ and it will search for others who have the same word as you do for 2014. Encouraging each other – love it!!
  • It has graphics that are super easy to customize with your word for 2014! It literally took me less than 5 minutes to make mine.

So, will you join me? Feel free to leave a comment letting me know what your OneWord is!

Love this – one word – my kind of resolution! I do make resolutions but I am more of an – every day is a new day person vs waiting until January 1. Love the simplicity!
