Golf Day

A dear friend invited me to play 18 holes today and it was DIVINE.

I need to disclose I am not really a golfer.  I haven’t played since exactly one year ago when this same friend invited me to play in the same annual event.

The weather was a gorgeous Indian Summer day: sunny and warm.

I spent a lot of time visiting the trees during my round, but at least I got to enjoy the fall color.

I grew up on a golf course, but didn’t really spend much time there until my dad pointed out the simple fact that I would be the only girl there…

I spent a lot of time on the course after that epiphany.

I’m a little slow, but I’m no dummy.
