Smitten with Amazon: Cyber Monday

I admit it, my love for Amazon continues to grow with each passing year. A couple of years ago, I decided to buy a few of our Christmas presents on Amazon. Last Christmas I bought at least half of our gifts on Amazon. And this Christmas, I’m heading in the same direction! Why do I love Amazon?

1. It saves me time. I am not running all over town, getting impatient in traffic, growing even more impatient with long lines and crowds.

2. It saves me money. I am constantly amazed at the great deals I can find on Amazon. I’m even starting to buy some of my necessities, not just gifts on amazon. For example, we were recently out of every size of battery, so to buy the batteries I needed at Walmart was going to be over $50. So I checked Amazon, I could get everything I needed, plus even a few extra batteries, and I only spent $35 at Amazon! So, if you are shopping on Amazon this holiday season, you might want to pick up some extra batteries for Christmas morning!

3. Huge selection. There are very few things I have not been able to find on amazon. Nearly everything I search for is there! I don’t have to worry about stores being sold out after I drive all the way there! Just check out their Cyber Monday Deals Week for some great deals!

4. Returns are easy. I recently bought an Otterbox phone case (by the way, it was $50 at the AT&T store and $16 at Amazon!) The closure wasn’t working right on it, so I simply filled out an online return form (seriously, just a few clicks), they then provided me a free label to print and return my case for FREE. After they received it, they refunded my money. I reordered the Otterbox case and the next one was just fine!

5. Millions of their products are shipped for FREE, if you spend $25. (There’s even a tab you can click that says “Free Super Saver Shipping” so you see ONLY the products that ship for free!) They also have an Amazon Prime membership, which I finally decided to join. For only $79/year, you get unlimited 2-day shipping on millions of products year round (with no minimum purchase required). You get access to thousands of live-streaming movies and shows, and even free reads for kindle owners. You can try it for free for a month! And if you are a mom still in the season of diapers, they offer Amazon Mom with even deeper discounts!

So if you are looking for a way to make this holiday season a bit easier, I highly recommend you check out Amazon.com! You might even become a tad smitten yourself!

I get most of my shopping done on amazon! Can’t beat the free shipping – I plan to get most of my children’s shopping done here this season too!

Amazon is so easy to use! I am obsessed with getting the best deal. Last night during my holiday shopping quest, I was having trouble finding a children cloth bottomed bookcase. I googled and searched lots of sites. I even checked Craigslist where I had just found my sons’ very very resonable little tike beds. Not one of these sites had what I wanted until I went to Amazon. It was soooo easy to use and it had the exact selection I was looking for for an unbelievable price. I wish I had shopped there before going to toysrus.com. Oops. Good idea with the batteries. I will get them there today. I have a friend who only buys diapers on Amazon. I do diapers.com only because I always need them the day before we run out. If you save your info on the site check out is literally 2 clicks away. Happy Santa shopping! 🙂
