Home Tour!

I think I could tour houses for a living.   I love to see how people live: to hunt for new great ways people organize stuff, to think about floor plans and how they function, and always to appreciate a good kitchen.  So join me on a tour of a friend’s house!

This is a GREAT kitchen!

From another angle…  The island, in case you were wondering, is 8 feet square.

Among my favorite things in this world are a built-in bench with a kitchen table.  Crazy, I know.

Also love the great room.  No wasted living room here folks.  Bring on the party.

Down the entry to the front door.  The adorables would wear a path up and down – laps, parade, marching, etc.

The office with the fabulous coffered ceiling.  I think I would take this for mine.

Love all the book storage. Think Family Fun magazines, garden books, Sark, picture books.

Gorgeous dining room.  Love the arch.

Love the butler’s pantry.  It would only fuel my love for dishes and platters.

And perhaps the room I’m most jealous of…

The walk-in pantry!  Hello Costco.
