Schleich’s 75th! (Giveaway)

Schleich is celebrating its 75^th anniversary this month!

If you are not aware of Schleich and their amazing wild animals and accessories, let me acquaint you. We LOVE these toys around here.

My adorables spend hours arranging, sorting and playing with these animals. Even from a young age, they were great for sorting different types of animals, learning about new animals and dividing which animals live in the USA or Africa or elsewhere.

And at any age, just to play.

I asked my friend Claudia to photograph her adorable’s Schleich play areas. I was astounded when we visited to see their level of creativity.

I mean hello!

Isn’t this amazing?? Claudia reports her boys play with these for hours upon hours. Schleich is their single favorite toys (and they do have a LOT!)

I just love this quiet sort of creative play. I HIGHLY recommend toys like this, with the addition of fences, troughs, trees, etc so adorables can mimic how they live.

And for you, 45 minutes or so of quiet, uninterrupted free time!!

So a very heartfelt congratulations to Schleich for 75 years of such high-quality toy-making from both the adorables and me.

To celebrate, Schleich has launched their new Airplane in specially marked anniversary packaging. Inside there is a voucher to redeem for a collectible zebra-striped animal.

It’s actually much larger than it looks in photos. It has cockpit doors with a pilot, cargo area perfect for boarding animals, an engine compartment and a really cool rear directional thing (if I knew anything about airplanes I could come up with the word, but it’s the airplane equivalent of a rudder on a boat, capiche?). For you early, holiday shoppers, I’m thinking this is a great option!

My grandma had a set of toy animals made out of painted metal. They’re too old and chipped to play with now (seeing as they’ve now become special family heirlooms, too), so I’d love to win a modern set for my kids!

OOH! This is exactly the kind of thing I have been looking for as a gift for my son Jack.He loves anything to do with planes!!You would not believe how hard it is just to find a nice plane toy that does not do weird stuff.I got my fingers crossed to win this!!!Yay!!Wish me luck!

Each time my daughter earns a special treat we go and buy another Schleich animal. We usually end up buying a whole family because my daughter wants there to be a mommy, daddy and babies… sometimes she asks for grandma, grandpa & aunties too 🙂 If I let her she would buy a whole jungle in one trip !!
