Home Tour Friday is here!  Last week we saw a modern marvel, and this week we’ll see traditional elegance at its finest.

Today we’re off to see a jaw-dropping new home in Greenwich, Connecticut.

(PS I don’t live in this neighborhood or anywhere near it.)

I told you.

View of the pool – isn’t this gorgeous?  The traditionalist in me loves it!

This is part of the landscaping detail outside outside the walk-out lower level.  Incredible!

Here’s another look at the bridge from the top. Love all the detail in the stone and the intricacy of the design.

This front door is all elegance: the crown molding and paneling detail as well as the inlaid tile work set the tone for the rest of the home.

Your welcome to the home.  I feel my mom’s “best behavior now” look burning on my neck.

The formal rooms are opulent.  This coffered ceiling is stunning and I love the symmetry of this room as well.

My apologies to the Running Man, but this room would be MINE!

He says that’s okay, because he gets full reign here.  This ceiling is awesome.

Alas, the kitchen.  *Sigh* Perfect.

Here’s another look at all the beauty.

Check out the arch behind there – the millwork throughout the home is magnificent!
