My Case for Paperback…

I encourage you to buy paperback books instead of hardcovers. Here’s why:

1. You get to buy twice as many.
2. Twice as many fit on the shelves.
3. You won’t be traumatized if your toddler accidentally destroys one.

I’m writing this because just this morning my 2-year-old adorable got hold of our signed copy of Eric Carle’s Ten Little Rubber Ducks and tore out the first few pages (it was a gift). It wrecked me for about 15 minutes, until I reminded myself that it was my fault for leaving it out.
