The Gift

2020 has been a most difficult year. The list it seems is endless and touches every corner of one’s life. And yet I believe is that everything has something to teach us if we have the courage to unwrap the gift that it is. The gift that is presented to us whether we ask for it or not.

And so this Christmas my wish for all of you is that you will peel back the lens of this year and see all the good, and hope, and kindness that revealed itself to you in 2020. The silver linings, and unexpected blessings, and maybe even the greatest teacher of all the school of hard knocks. The good that is always there if you truly seek it.

The shepherds left their post to meet the new king in His majesty and glory. The wise men had to seek and follow the star to arrive at the infant Jesus. Life is a journey that requires us to act, even if that act is only perspective, to arrive where we need to be.

Peace to all, goodwill to men, and may the joy of the Christmas season find you wherever you are and fill you and your home with love and hope. Unwrap the gift that is your life.
